Butter Cake


Butter Cake

250gm butter
200gm caster sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
300 gm self-rising flour (sifted)
3/4 cup of evaporated milk

Preheat the oven 160C.
Beat the butter with the caster sugar until white and fluffy.
Add in the eggs one at a time and mix well.
Add in vanilla essence and evaporated milk and mix well.
Fold in sifted flour into the butter mixture and mix well.
Pour into a greased and lined cake tray.
Bake for an hour.


Butter Cake - the aroma of the butter is heavenly.
