Baked Rice


Baked Rice
3/4 c. rice
4-8 chicken breasts, boned and cleaned. cut into slices
1 onion chopped into cubes
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 tsp. minced garlic or 2 garlic cloves, minced
a few water chestnut - cut into slices
a small can of button mushroom - cut into slices
two tblsp of almond flakes
Cheddar cheese
raisin (Optional)

1. Cook the rice and put aside.

2. Fry the onion, chicken, water chestnut and mushroom together

3. Put the rice into the baking dish, pour all the fried items and the can of mushroom over the rice and stir.

4. Sprinkle the almond flakes and cheese over the top of the rice.

5. Bake about 1/2 an hour (175C)
